How to use AI for Decision Clarity

This week, I'm sharing a decision framework that shines when stakes are high, team alignment matters, and you need to document your reasoning. It approaches decisions from multiple angles: cost/benefit, inversion, and second-order effects.

I've found it works best with voice rather than typing – verbally exploring options accesses different thinking patterns, while AI excels at structuring these explorations. In team settings, it creates a shared decision language, making alignment more natural.

Try the prompt below with your AI assistant, replacing Option A and B with your choices. Speaking your responses allows for more nuanced thinking while the AI handles the structure.
